KFCC was authorized a Henan provincial corporate technology center

Good news came on 6th, August 2010, that the application for a provincial technology center of Kaifeng Carbon Co., Ltd, Zhongping Energy & Chemical Group (KFCCZECG) had been authorized and KFCCZECG has become one of Henan provincial corporate technology-centers, which symbolized KFCCZECG’s leading position in technological R&D ability of carbon products in the province.
The authorizations of corporate technology centers are aimed to enhance independent innovative capacity of enterprises and establish technological innovative mechanism where industry, academic studies and scientific research can be combined with each other, regarding enterprises as subjects and market as orientation. The authorization has strict standards and procedures, and after going through all the procedures, the applicant has to gain unanimous consent of Henan Provincial Development & Reform Commission, together with Henan Provincial Finance Department, Henan Provincial Office of State Administration of Taxation, Henan Local Tax Bureau and Customs to conform itself to Regulations of Henan Province on Authorization of Corporate Technology Centers. In the end, KFCCZECG was authorized as a qualified provincial corporate technology center.
KFCCZECG has been putting great emphasis on innovations of process and products and technological research since its foundation with over 3% annual sales revenue in R&D investment. KFCCZECG has creatively used local needle coke to produce UHP graphite electrodes, which is a breakthrough in raw material which had been only available from abroad for decades. As a corporate technology center, KFCCZECG will get more preferential treatment from the government to perfect its R&D system, enhance its innovation and strengthen its core competitiveness.
