The Science and Technology Congress of KFCC was held on 11th May, 2010, aiming to review the work of science and technology in 2009, give commendation to the advanced units and individuals and program future works. Most of chief executives attended the meeting, including chairman Mr. Li Yongping, general manager Mr. Chen Wenlai, assistant manager Mr. Li Xiudong, Mr. Ji Yaoming, Mr. Ye Baowei and chief accountant Mr. Peng Guochang.

With the strategy of invigorating the company through science and technology development, KFCC achieved much innovative progress in science and technology in 2009. There were totally more than eighty projects twenty of which were chose by the science and develpment committee to be honored at the meeting. Besides, commendations were given to the project of raw material localization and two patents.

The executives announced future science and technology programs at the meeting. KFCC planed forty-seven projects in 2010, and the total investment added up to more than 100 million. Chairman Li and general manager Chen were appointed as leaders of the science and development committee. It was ruled that all applying projects should conform to the regular process, including verifying, initiation, planning, implement, check, accept and commending.

The achievements and problems were both reviewed at the meeting, which would help the company to have a more clear understanding of current work and improve future working skills.
